King’s Master’s Support Scheme 2015-16
We are delighted to announce that for this year only, up to 273 new awards of £10,000 will be available to students looking to pursue master’s study in 2015. These awards are exclusively aimed at widening access to postgraduate study and are joint-funded by the Higher Education Funding Council (HEFCE) and King’s. President’s Scholarships for international master’s students
We are delighted to offer 20 President’s Scholarships, each worth £10,000, for any of our full-time master’s programmes. These scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence, achievement and potential. For more info about this scheme, click here.
Friends of King’s College London Associate Scholarship (USA)
King’s is pleased to be able to offer a $2,000 (USD) scholarship to US students applying to study a full-time postgraduate master’s programme at King’s in 2015/16. This scholarship will be awarded based on academic excellence, achievement and potential. For more info about this scheme, click here.
Department of Social Science, Health & Medicine bursaries
The department is pleased to announce that it will offer 5 Postgraduate Bursaries for 2015/16 of the value of £2,000 each, with one award for each of the following Masters programmes:
- 1 for MSc Medicine, Science and Society
- 1 for MA in Bioethics & Society
- 1 for MSc in Global Health & Social Justice
And two additional awards for Institute of Gerontology programmes.
Eligibility: All students applying for any of our Full Time programmes to begin in September 2015 are eligible for these bursaries, including UK, EU and Overseas students.
Criteria: The bursaries will be awarded on academic merit and widening participation.
Please note different deadline for this scheme: All individuals who have submitted a complete application by midnight on the 29th May will be considered for the bursaries. Candidates should send a short personal statement (1-2 paragraphs) to the programme directors outlining why they need the bursary. The successful candidates will be notified no later than 20 June 2014. Payments will be made in October 2014 and January 2015.
