Highlights

What a day it was January 27th, 2015!

Professor John Harris, Lord Alliance Professor of Bioethics and Director of the Institute for Science, Ethics & Innovation in the Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Manchester, lectured for our students on Moral Enhancement, Freedom and Mind-Reading.

Two of our students, Shayda Kashef and Aimee Bambury, presented a case study on moral bioenhancement (as part of their formative assessment for the Case Studies in Bioethics & Society module taught by Dr Silvia Camporesi ), and John Harris gave them excellent feedback.

After the lecture we all went for drinks at Somerset House and continued the discussion until late, with some book signing too.

Here are some pictures of the event – Thank you John! And thanks to all the wonderful students of the very first cohort of the Bioethics & Society MA!
