Dr Silvia Camporesi, Lecturer in Bioethics & Society, Programme Director, MA in Bioethics & Society, has been awarded one of the College’s prestigious Teaching Excellence Awards, on behalf of the Faculty of Social Science and Public Policy for 2015.
This is the thirteenth year that the Awards have been offered, having been introduced in 2002 as part of the College’s Learning and Teaching strategy funded by HEFCE.
The Awards are now funded by the College and recipients are selected from those nominated by students for their excellent and engaging teaching. This year 2,000 nominations from students were received, which not only demonstrates the high regard our students have for excellent teaching, but also the level of competition to achieve such recognition.
Details of the winners will be promoted across the College through various publications and College-wide events, including the Excellence in Teaching Conference (details available here: www.kcl.ac.uk/9eitc)
Silvia has been invited to receive her award at the forthcoming graduation ceremony of the Faculty on July 20th, 2015.
The department of SSHM congratulates Silvia on this achievement.
Silvia thanks the amazing Bioethics & Society MA students for putting in the time and effort to nominate her! THANK YOU!!
